Born in Iraq, 1976 to Palestinian parents, lived my childhood traveling around the world with my family. In spite of my parent’s professions in politics and medicine, they both had their artistic side in their life and as devoted amateur artists, I grew up surrounded by painters, movie directors and poets. Art and appreciating it was the sweet mist in the air I sprouted into. The experiences I was exposed to ranged from painting to community theatre. Colors and body movements were stressed as eloquent modes of expressing emotions and thoughts. My love story with animation began with this perfect backdrop.
I am fascinated by drawings and animation theories, and always eager to learn more. My specialties include creative storytelling, writing, directing, storyboarding, animation and visual effects creation. Since 2011, I’m living and working in Wellington, New Zealand.
